Did you just recently upgrade to XP?  From what I've been able to tell, 
the IM nodelist compiler is subject to the same Pascal bug that a lot of 
programs from back then were subject to.  Once your CPU was faster than 
I think 200-300mHz, a delay routine would end up dividing by 0 and cause 
an exception error.
