Recommended system for tracking:
at least a 386 with Gravis Ultrasound 1 meg

at least a low-end 486 with SoundBlaster 16 or Pro
(because the GUS uses a sound coprocessor, the GF1)
2-4 megs ram
10-50 megs HD
good speakers
some form of internet access (optional)
Screamtracker and/or Impulsetracker and/or Fasttracker
at least 3-5 megs of samples
