On a very rainy day, Buu Huynh was bugging his computer and typed...
BH> BH> Anybody composed music around here?
BH> RS> Wanna know how other people compose, or just wondering...
BH> BH> Just wanna what tracker your using, that's all.
BH> RS> Tracker??? I'm sorry, I thought we were talking about
BH> RS> MUSIC? I compose(d) music using an Mega ST and Roland
BH> RS> PR-100 hardware sequencer driving...
BH> RS> ...If you can convince me that
BH> RS> SERIOUS radio stations will accept jingles and
BH> RS> commercial tunes from a tracker...
BH> Look at all those things, I bet that it cost a zillion.
Well, not really, but I agree I had to work for this stuff very long. I
didn't buy all of it at once of course, took me about 6 years to collect all
this stuff...
BH> With tracker, you pay nothing!. Did I convince yet? :)
Not yet, those things eventually pay-off because radio stations want my tunes
and pay for them. I'm still not sure if they would pay for MOD quality
tunies. But you know what; I'll try it out! I will offer one a tune made with
a tracker and hear what they say about it.
Besides, I don't agree about the "you pay nothing" thing. To play some
serious MOD stuff you'll need a good soundcard (I have none) and a fast
computer with loads of memory. I used to play tracker stuff through a Covox
sound key and through the FM chip of my very very sheap and dull Covox
Voicemaster II card, but I'll borrow some SB shit from a friend to create my
next commercial tune.
I'll keep you informed.

And the most interesting part is:
