Can't help you any more on this, not using Win9? myself and the distance is a 
factor :)
 
Are you affected by El Nino down under?
 
Yes, some areas have suffered VERY sever drought, other parts have (lately) 
had great amounts of rain, but you guys haven't been missing out either. BFN
