 GL> I'm interested in becoming a point, but confess to being confused at this
 GL> point (to coin a phrase). I've downloaded POINTINT.* from your board, but
 GL> can't really see how this tells me to "set myself up as point number
 GL> 3:711/034.32000 ..... and send it directly to you via my point setup!"

It refers you to all the other files you can use.

 GL> Is POINTINT.ZIP the file I was meant to get? It mentions another file,
 GL> POINT.ZIP, that doesn't seem to exist.

Yes it does. Try to FREQ it.

 GL> So I had a go at TINY*.* and seem to have got that sorted out. I was
 GL> going to use it to send you the message, but then I realised I couldn't
 GL> convert point 32000 into a two-charcter hex code, so wasn't sure what I
 GL> was meant to do.

32000 = x'7d00'.

 GL> Anyway, the information required is set out below:

The trouble is that you have sent this password via routed netmail, which
is not private. You have to crash the message so that I know you've set it
up properly. Try again to set yourself up, and crash the message directly.
