I'd like to take a peek at that. I am developing an online
(Internet/BBS) collectables database system for serious collectors, starting
with collectable dolls and expanding as the need arises. I'd love to take a
peek at 'the competition'... also gives me a leg up on developing a database
integration, allowing new members to ship me a database from "package X" and
I simply import all of the data at one time - saves data entry costs.
We're also doing insurance listings and estimated valuations based on
current market pricing. Security is handled by a complete lack of collector
information on the online hardware - knowing that collector 1420 has a rare
doll does a hacker no good if the name/address cannot be found anywhere on
the online system. All of that is entirely offline and secure.
