Hi Paul,

The problem with difftime() was from specifying different math
libraries to the compiler & the linker.  I'm still a little confused
about the interaction between the compile command line in the
makefile & the options in the global & local sascoptions files, but
at least it seems to be working now.  Once I sorted out difftime()
Tobruk compiled & ran ok.

Next, I tried to compile it with USE_MBASE defined.  One .c file was
trying to #include , so I changed it to "mbase.h".  I also
had to create a whole bunch of prototypes for mbase.  Now, it gurus
(illegal instruction) in mbaseAccessMessage() on the rewind() call
near line 285.

    rewind(gmd->fu);
