Hello All!

Hello, My name is Tony Griffith, a fellow Fidonet member who decided
to join the 21st century and transfer Fido mail/files through the
internet. As you probably have noticed by now, automating Fido
transfers via the internet can be "tricky" to say the least, and
downright difficult to be more acurate. After about a year and a half
of searching for an inexpensive utility to transfer Fido mail/files
unattended, I finally hit paydirt!

Enter SDFTP (Script Driven FTP), a wonderfully simple FTP client
for Win95/NT!
With this utility and any scheduler such as the one that comes in the
Win95 Plus! Pack, you can be transferring your packets VIA ftp
painlessly in a very short period of time.
Included, you'll find some sample scripts to get you on the onramp in
minutes. However, I strongly recommend reading the help file included
with SDFTP 1.3, as despite it's simplicity, it's quite powerful. This
client is PERFECT for Fido/FTP transfers, plus
is has TONS of other uses, such as raiding volumes of files from FTP
sites all over the world while you're nustled all snug in your bed!
This client will not only transfer files, but even trigger or execute
your mail tosser after a successful FTP session.

Included in this sample-script archive, you'll find:

OUTBOUND.FTP A script for uploading mail packets to Southern Star
(Internet Hub)
INBOUND.FTP A script for downloading mail packets.
FILEBONE.FTP A script for downloading filebone
ALL-IN-1.FTP A script including all above scripts to handle
everything in one visit!

If you have any technical questions, you can contact the author at:

Any FTP/FIDO questions, I can try to help and can be contacted at
1:3603/420 (FIDO),
or contact me via email at minitman{at}gte.net. The latest version of
SDFTP can always
be freq'ed from 1:3603/420, magicname "SDFTP"
And sample FTP/FIDO scripts using magicname "SAMPLES"..
