JR>How do I instruct a modem at 28,800 NOT to hang up when a
JR>receiver is picked up?
JR>NO separate lines, No devices, No wiring schemes.
JR>Just a part of the string to tell it NOT to drop the connection.
I can't find the original thread, but I thought we already discussed
this in length and decided a dedicated line is the best way to go.
Oh, well.
Try changing S10. (The register, not the Chevy).
My 14.4 manual says:
S10 - Carrier Loss To Hangup Delay
Range 1-255
Units 0.1 sec
Saved Yes
Default 14
Of course, you'll have to re-program the OTHER modem, too.
