You can't do what you want to do. If the modem loses carrier bacause someone 
picks up a phone somewhere, then it waits for the timeout of S10, then hangs 
up, period. You can set S10 to its highest value. Or maybe 0 will disable it. 
But unless BOTH ends are set up this way, the modems will disconnect.
