                              (Echo rules)

1. The echo is for the support/discussion of the CrossPoint Universal Point
   Programme and its associated utilities.

2. The language of the echo is English.

3. Taking into account the German origin of the software, the following
   exceptions to rule #2 may be applied:
        a) File descriptions in the German language are allowed.
        b) CrossPoint related material from other sources may be
           posted in the German language but preferably with an
           accompanying English translation.

4. Hi-Ascii is allowed but *ONLY* as an aid to giving support.

5. Foul language is not allowed.

6. Flaming is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

7. "My software is better than your software" type messages are off-topic.

8. Signature lines may not exceed two lines.

9. Each signature line may not contain more than forty characters.

10. BBS adverts are off topic.

11. Encrypted messages are NOT allowed.

12. Aliases/handles are not allowed in the "From:" line.

13. Gating of this echo is not permitted without the prior consent of
    the moderator.

14. The moderator's word is final.
