By using the Masoretic text Jesus is not saying that this is the pure text, 
but
rather acknowledging it as being a well known text of the day.
If the Masoretic text is the pure text and none other then why do you use the
KJV and not the Masoretic text?

All translations are open to error in the process of translation.
As such it can be useful to cross reference in different versions. However 
ny
insistance on one particular version, I find to be a little absurd.
