LB>Would anyone know a lot about the Beatles albums and what they would
LB>be worth. What I have is....
It's really tough to place a single price upon records because
they vary where ever you go. Have a look in used record stores
in your area to get a general idea. The value of an album equals
the demand for it. You'll find even record price guides will
differ in information also.
LB>The White Album - records are in good shape, but the album isn't.
LB>(Can anyone tell me why this album says it was made in England, but it
LB>has Columia Records on it? Was/Is Columbia Records in England?)
It was originally recorded at APPLE records in London,England
but Columbia (Are you sure it doesn't say CAPITOL?) will be the
distributor for North America.
LB>I also have a couple of the Beatles' 45s on the Apple label, in the
LB>original sleeves in great condition.
Again depends on who wants them. I have a few that I bought for
less than a dollar each, but I have seen them as high as five
dollars each in mint condition. If you have photographic sleeves
the value goes up.
LB>Also, what about Sonny & Cher's first album or two.
They were somewhat worthless, but since SONNY has died recently
there may be someone looking for them.
