Anyone get disconnected a lot?
Trouble shooting
1-Check line for noise
2-Switch line
3-Check modem with loop back tests, Modem Doctor
4-Try another modem
5-Test software program
6-Try another communication program
7-Use basic commands, AT set, at DOS level
8-Have telephone company test, or repair line.
Modem type NewCom 33.6 Data/Fax/Voice recommends various settings, and so
does the major services for this modem like AOL, etc.
Yet today all I get is disconnected, what else could it be?
Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.
