Our local Wal-Mart has nearly two dozen of the sets.
"Action Pack - JPL Sojourner Mars Rover" #16145
includes: Mars Pathfinder, with pop-out lander
Lander, with pop-off rover
Rover, with moveable antenna.
All three units are different scales, so they do not stack. The rover
unit is about the size of a normal HW vehicle, as are the other two.
Wal-Mart's price is $4.96, plus TN tax of 8.25%. As offered, I will pick
up these at the Wal-Mart price, plus tax, plus shipping, for anyone
interested. However, since I don't want/need several dozen, I'd rather do so
-after- funds have been received. If they are out, it will be returned on my
postage.
These will make a neat addition to any collection... and it's already
sparked an interest in my boys to visit the JPL website to get pictures and
info on 'the real thing'. Plus.... they show some of the other Action Packs
on the back - time to start the hunt for the "Home Improvement" and Undersea
Adventure sets!! The "HI" set includes Tim's hot rod and his hot lawn mower,
along with "Tim the Tool Man" and his tool chest! Looks pretty interesting!!
Good Hunting!!
