Hello Joan,
FS>> I note by the origin line you are in or near Putnam, CT.

JK> I'll try to do what I can. It will give me an excuse to spend a day
 JK> browsing the "mall" place. :-) That's where I saw the Wedgwood--and
 JK> books--last time. Joan
Spouse and I have trudged through the malls you described; they are "the
going thing" all over the country apparently! We have a copy of a
"newspaper" that lists malls and shops all across Texas. We went "malling"
again today in a nearby town that is fast becoming known for "antiqueing", as
is our town of Weatherford. As we were fast approaching the edge of complete
exhaustion, we found about four booths or stalls that had various pieces of
Wedgewood scattered about. We found three pieces we had been searching for
over at reasonable prices (we bought them) and several at not so reasonable
prices (we did NOT buy them). We did see two semi-unique pieces we are still
considering but I may have to sell one of my pieces to get the funds! Ah, the
trials of being a collector! We did see four sets of Wedgwood thimbles,
each containing six (?) different thimbles with each thimble displaying the
bust of a different king or queen. They would be perfect for the right
collector at $47.50 per set; we are just not thimble collectors, Wedgwood or
not.
We are still searching for some recommendations for good books on collecting
Wedgwood, so, keep us in mind as you "mall" your area.
