I can tell you that a friend in England sent me some of the green with white
decoration in 1970, and it was being produced at that time. If I see any
books on the shelves hereabouts, I'll let you know.
He gave me a round tray, a round tray, and a heart-shaped box. He also gave
me one of the black with white trim, a rather unusually-shaped box. I
treasure them and wouldn't think of selling them (my friend has since passed
away). On the odd trip to the stores in town, I occasionally see the same
pieces offered for sale, and can't believe the prices.
We live in a town dedicated to antiques. Guess it's time I take a turn
through the stores once again. I'll take notes on the Wedgwood I see, and
find out if they have any books available.
Cheers! Happy Holidays!
Joan
