We have been unable thus far to locate decent catalog-type books on Wedgwood
porcelin/china. At present, we have a mixture of new and old items: white
on pale blue jasper, white on royal blue, royal blue on white jasper, white
on green jasper, white on lilac jasper, and white on pink jasper.
We recently found a 3 color green pitcher (late 19th century) but passed on
it as we were unable to check it against a reliable reference; $500 was a bit
steep to be uncertain about. Recently, we have seen Wedgwood pins for ladies,
and a necklace cameo with matching earrings, however, we passed on them for
the same reason: no reference point.
Can anyone help us date the green and lilac within 10-20 years of origin?
Also, the royal blue on white? Can you suggest some good reference
books/catalogs? All constructive help appreciated.
