      I hope that you realize that Init3 is resetting the modem to the stored
defaults, edffectively cancelling out any changes done by Init1 and Init2.


      You would be best to store the settings as you wish them, and simply use
an ATZ| for Init1, leaving Init2 and Init3 empty.
