Yes, provided they work within channels. I personally am opposed
to us becoming part of coalitions as it is a proven mistake.
The A.C.B. tried it in the early 80's and it didn't work for them and it
on't
work for us. The blind will become swallowed up and not considered.
Now, if we can work along side coalitions on certain issues for the
etterment
of disabled people that's another thing entirely. That we should do
if and when we can.
I also agree with you concerning the expense accounts of bob
Acosta. While I think we also waited too long to make our decision
in the California situation, it speaks very poorly for the A.C.B.
and its California and national leadership that this kind of
embezzlement was able to go on for 14 years without even the
slightest questioning. Where is their auditing procedure?
