        I am surprised that it was on television at all.  I used to play 
hess
on my computer and lost a lot.  But it was really boring though it did kill 
off
tons of time but it wasn't worth it sitting there thinking and staring at the
same screen for hours.  But beleive it or not there is many people out there
that find chess to be the ultimate of games and i guess those are people that
play the game a lot themselves to see whatever it is that keeps them playing.
