Hi Graeme.  I have increased the time limit for logon to 10 minutes instead
of 4.  And I checked, the program appears to have created the account, even
though you timed out.  Must have used defaults for everything.  Try
downloading a file from the file area.  "F" gives file titles,
and when prompted for protocol, choose "zmodem".  With a bit of
luck, it will automatically start downloading files.
