Dear Fellow Doolies: 
  
First of all, I want to as I do every year, praise my Co-Moderator, 
Tritchen for her valuable and priceless dedication to making the 
content of this echo a continued success into its 6-7th year of 
operation. 
  
Secondly,  I hope Tritchen's Father is doing okay?  I read in a past 
post he was not feeling well.  Please know we will keep your Father in 
our Prayers and wish him the best of health. 
  
Next, if you ever need time to spend with your Father, please do not 
hesitate to do so.  I am sure my faithful user, Jason will step into 
your shoes and post the happenings of the soap opera.  I thank him for 
his efforts as well in this echo. 
  
Please let your users out their know that this echo is alive and 
kicking, and to have their SysOp AREAFIX it into their message area on 
their BBSes. :-) 
  
As always, I will be keeping periodic tabs on this echo to make sure it 
continues to be in compliance with the rules file and any related 
current FidoNet Policies.  We should have another 4 or 5 months before 
I have to perform my Moderator Update on this echo.  As the Regional 
Coordinators hammer out a new FidoNet Policy to supercede Policy 4 
created in 1980's, I will keep the Policy 4 verbiage in my Rules File. 
  
Lastly, I want to wish everyone out their in FidoNetLand a safe, happy 
and prosperous Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's as well as a 
belated Happy Thanksgiving.  Remember, if you drink, have a designated 
driver to drive you safely home.
