Some other company has the QEDIT trademark (trademark, not copyright) on
a product and apparently had it before SemWare From what Sammy said in a
message to me they apparently lost the Qedit trademark in court. Sammy said
that he can't do anything about what _we_ say (and he realizes that many
(most?) of us continue to call TSE Jr "Qedit" but no one from SemWare can.

We don't know who "everyone" is though. I can post in the Echo several
times and maybe each of us could post a note about it in our Region sysop
Echo, but it wouldn't surprise me if there were dozens of FidoNet sysops who
carry the QEDIT Echo but don't read it themselves.
BTW, I am not the moderator and have no intentions of being (I already
moderate or co-moderate several other Echoes.) I've simply volunteered to
send in the EchoList update for the time being. I've listed Sammy as
moderator to avoid charges of 'stealing' the Echo or arguments. Changing the
Echo Tag name is going to have to be a cooperative effort of all of us on the
Fido side.
