    I found one: changing Paragraph-End Style from "Blank Line" 
    to "Equal In/Outdent" makes wordwrap work as advertised, even 
    though I do have spaces on the blank lines.
    
    I've no idea why I get spaces and you don't.  If I move the 
    cursor to the "blank" line above this paragraph and press     
    , it moves to column 5 in line with the text above.  
    Still, the issue is now academic.
