      I'm referring to my computer, it's a mere AMD-850, which is slow when
compared to the current crop  operating at 2GHz or faster.  Yes, I realize
that the TP bug kicks in a 200 MHz, but.....

      Hopefully, but then again with a heavily multitasked system who really

      Are you sure?  It sure sounds like it's inserting delays somewhere, and
I really doubt it's doing it to whatever program it's controlling.  It's
most likely it works by adding selays to the clock cycles.

      Do you notice any overall effect on your rtc?
