I just ran accross a fellow with a 1964 Jeep Wagoneer that is willing to part 
with it.  According to him, the only thing wrong is that the AutoTrans (the 
rig is a 4X) is beginning to slip and keeps dropping out of 'drive' into 2nd. 
 It's his opinion that the vehicle would be worth $2500 in running condition, 
but I think he mentioned $1500 as is (with the tranny probs).
Is this something I want to get interested in ?  Or was there an indemic 
problem with the trans of that make/model/year ?  Providing there are no 
other problems, what would a rebuilt trans for that rig cost me ?
