i have amiga comal, but you are right most programming on amiga is done in
asm and c, just a little in c++, i do know COBOL Algol, Fortran, but only
from books about them, i have only worked by hands-on on pascal / basic /
comal

the fun thing is REXX its something from ibm but i have not seen it used
alot on os2, but arexx is nearly used on every amiga programs, this have me
pusled

:)

comal is imho not just another api, basicly its build from the best world
at 8bit from pascal and at the time of basic from 8bit computers, the fun
comes when you have comal, portabality :)

comal programs writed for c64 runs in native comal 128, and amiga comal, i
know accorn bbc olso have comal, but its not build from the same source,
there fore only the basic comal kernel is working

 Regards Benny

... and it works :)
