Or you can use the replace command form the menu to remove trailing spaces:
   replace(" #$", "", "gnx")
or to remove common trailing whitespaces:
   replace("{ |\t|\v|\d000}#$", "", "gnx")

Subject: Macro to strip trailing whitespace?
I thought I already had a macro to strip trailing white space, but I
don't see it in my Potpourri list. (This brings up another question:
is there some way to search all the text in the Potpourri
descriptions?)
I have the editor set to strip trailing whitespace on any lines I
edit, but sometimes I need to strip it from all lines in the file.
Does anyone have a macro to strip trailing whitespace?
