Hello Peter, nice talking to you !

Sorry abaout the 7peter. Looking into it.

As I type this at you on my Commodore 128, ( I lie like a rug )
it is for old time sake. Nope, I am mobile and not in Florida. Wwe
sold that place last April and will not see Florida again. The Lady
here did not like the social athmosphere anymore. I am typing on a
Thinkpad powerhouse, a G41. I still use Doc's Place for my drop even
when on DUN, here. At home I have cable and a LAN of 4 systems,
running on RJ-45 mainly but the Lady's TP is upstairs on WiFi. I
still use on this non-DOS XP Pro, the old Bluewave and a DOS editor.
It is not supposed to work on a non-DOS OS but please do not tel
  anybody.... sh...!

On Doc's Place, I do not see any C= conference but I drop in
to Juxta now and then and I just saw you. How are you doing, still
in upper Laval or so ? Here, in spite of old age, I struggle still.
Had a hand operation in May for Dupuytren where the ring finger on
my right hand would not straigten out any more. Fixed now and I can
type with my 10 fingers. At the moment, I am in Kamouraska still
after a full month here. Moving back to Roxboro on Friday. It has
been a yearly do, we rent a large house for all the kids to come and
visit in turn. Check the tear line.

I am unable to connect to Com-Aid anymore. I have tried but
after the handshake, I get a dead line. I do not even know if it is
still up. Let me know... 514-747-5991 I think, from my RAM. Gerry
said that he would never turn it off, the problem might be my modem
somehow. Funny as I can connect to AOL on it to test but not to C-A.
If you do connect, then I would investigate further. Any idea ?

I have four Thinkpads that I got for next to zero and fixed
for friends. They all run fine now, quite the machines. I also have
an Athlon 1.2 homebrewed and a VIA 800 also homebrewed of spare
  parts, amazingly, they also run.

All the best to you, Piver.

Took a small boat to beluga country yesterday.
There were at least 40 - 50 of them. Awesome.
