->      I really don't think the bard is worht getting.  I really hate

-> That is the only part of the game that I don't like.
        I'm not interested in having a Bard either. To me it is much
more effective causing problems for the enemy, and I personally think
that the special skills that come with the Dancer class are a lot more
potent than the ones compliments of the Bard.
        As for when a person dies and you can't resurrect them in time;
that's where the instant resurrect button comes into play - the reset
button! ;)  I save before and after every fight.
