A nice little essay but it's really not much different from my own
experiences going to Ti-Cat or Bulldogs games, though CFL and AHL rather
than major league, and little yellow promotional footballs and pucks
rather than baseballs. Only this past did my experiences at football
games were negative, not because the team was 2-16 or that I couldn't
sit back and enjoy the game but because I had to sit near a group of
people that whined the entire season and constantly showed their
ignorance of the game. I suspect that if you had to sit next to those
people at baseball game your enjoyment of America's pastime would
diminish significantly.
