Don't worry...
I made a piece of music I like, and I've come across several people who
like it through the several months of its existence.
BUT -- with this piece of music I originally entered the NAID'96
musiccompo -- at which "all styles are given equal chances" (bullshit).
It didn't even went in the top 20 (there were 77 entries, most of them
were techno music or even dance).
I uploaded it on ftp.cdrom.com/pub/demos/ at the beginning of summer.
The guys rated it for the Demonews #129 issue which just got released.
They rated it 2/10 (i.e. one star). At least they do warn us that
"ratings are subjective".
But no matter whether ratings are subjective or not, people won't
download my "crap" off that ftp site. And my song will get deleted as
soon as they have a chance to lack diskspace. (when diskspace gets
rare, all songs under 4/10 get deleted)
