| subject: | Re: Questions About NT 4 Workstation; I just bought a copy. |
From: Gary Britt My XP Home laptop won't reliably go to suspend and hibernate in some or all configurations. It used to work, but for quite a while now it doesn't. I setup a timed macro with Macro Express to hibernate the computer after 150 minutes of no keyboard/mouse activity. That works every time without fail. Macro Express will also do a suspend instead of a hibernate, but I save that for when the laptop is undocked, because when docked the external keyboard and mouse don't wake up properly for dos app input.
