Have the consultants get an ICQ or AIM account and run trillian, you just
drag the file to a buddy's name and drop it and it gets sent directly to
them, you can even set it to autoreceive so it's real convenient even if
you aren't around when they send it.

Email is a horrible way to transmit files, ftp or IM are the way to go.
