No USB with NT4, period, except for a cranky patch that Dell issued for its laptops.

And speaking of laptops, NT4 handled battery and sleep really badly.  Part
of the Thinkpad's reputation was that IBM sorta worked around this.  Most
of my NT-loving friends ran 98 on their laptops.  I'd consider an old
desktop for this.
