   I vaguely recall a 2 GB limit for the install partition, although I have
upgraded the install partition by migrating it to a larger partition with Ghost.

   Although the OS only takes a hundred meg for the install, any
respectable app throws a couple hundred meg extra into \WINNT\SYSTEM32
during its own install.   It adds up quickly.
