| subject: | Re: Questions About NT 4 Workstation; I just bought a copy. |
From: Gary Britt
Yes that's it. Its actually xxxxx-OEM-xxxxxxx-xxxxx. The COA just says
for distribution with a new PC, but a clear sticker referencing HP PC's was
added at some time. Probably quite some time ago. OK, looks like I'm good
then. On Win2K and XP there is BOTH a product ID and a Product Key, and
the product key is a different format so that is what made me think I
needed more than just the Product ID.
Thanks for clarifying for me.
Are there any patches or downloads for NT that I should get. It comes with
SP 6a disk. I take it the SP's are cumulative and I don't need SP's 1
through 5?
Any tools or other downloads that I need to snag to give Windows NT the
features for networking, configuration, or whatever that I'm used to with
Win2K and XP ??
Thanks,
Gary
