Windows 2000  and XP was the same way, anything over 128gb or was it 137gb,

I think that works for NT4 as well. As I remember you create a boot
partition of 8gb, install NT then after it's installed and SP6a is applied
do the regedit and partition the rest of the drive. Don't use a boot
partition over 8gb, it's nothing but trouble and NT only takes a hundred
meg for the install.
