OMG - Not really a good idea ... unless you have some particular need, and definitely will not be exposed to any malicious network traffic. However, for nostalgic reasons, some history follows. On NT4, you could enter all ones for the CD key (I think - maybe all ones worked in NT3.51 and was stopped in NT4??). Quite a big story associated with installing NT4 on a large hard disk. I forget the definition of "large", but it's quite small by today's standards. The size of the partition is not relevant - it's the disk. The NT4 setup does not use the BIOS extensions to allow handling large IDE disks, and so setup fails. The solution is to use certain drivers from SP4 or later (ISTR you add them by pressing F6 during setup). The three floppies are for booting setup! They do not have NT4 setup on them. Back in those days, it was easy to find computers that could not boot from the CD.
