From: "John Beamish" If it's financially challenging in Nashville it's going to be financially gut-wrenching in Cambridge. Nashville "economic market" is around 1.5 million http://www.nashvilleareainfo.com/default.aspx?Page=Population Cambridge/Kitchener/Waterloo/misc is closer to 750,000 http://www.citypopulation.de/Canada-Ontario.html He can't put the team in Hamilton (which makes *tremendous* sense because of some pre-existing facilities) because then he'd be within 50 miles of Toronto (and have to pay Toronto Maple Leafs ~$US50 million penalty) and I *think* (didn't check it out) that he'd also be within 50 miles of Buffalo (and have to pay them as well). It makes sense, actually, to put it in north Toronto. He'd still have to pay the penalty but he'd he be in an area where he could get large crowds at ridiculous ticket prices (because Toronto Maple Leaf hockey club has a huge waiting list for season ticket subscribers and they'd likely migrate to the 'other team' just so they could get their hockey fix).
