It is from what I can tell a fairly tight device driver component that is
pushed out from the server console.  I deployed in on maybe 40 PCs and only
one older machine didn't like it much.

If you need this sort of information it is very helpful.  The activity
monitor you can install on your workstation gives some basic info for
authorized/unauthorized activity.
