applications from C.  Do's and Don'ts, or something like that.
There hasn't been much in-depth talk about C programming in here that I
can remember.

I don't know about anyone else, but I was completely ignorant of PERL
before you brought it up.  Although I doubt if I'll have much reason to
use it, I am tahnkful for the brief education you've provided.  I am
always interested in learning more ABOUT different programming
languages, if not actually learning the languages themselves.  (Who has
time to learn more than 3 or 4 really well anyway???)
