| subject: | Question on electricity phase |
Hi, I couldn't find a more appropriate message area for this question. If this is off-topic, please forgive me. I have 2 surge suppressors that are rated 220VAC at 50hz. I am using these 2 in Singapore. I plan to bring these surge suppressors to my home, the Philippines. The electricity in the Philippines is also 220VAC, but the phase is 60hz. My question is: can I still use these surge suppressors in the Philippines? And can they still provide protection in the Philippines? These surge suppressors are not special and not expensive. But I would love to be able to still use these in the Philippines. --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A31 (Raspberry Pi)* Origin: A 90's Manila BBS telnet://a90smanilabbs.ddns.net (3:772/500) SEEN-BY: 57/0 130/505 153/250 280/464 310/31 317/2 393/68 633/0 267 280 281 SEEN-BY: 633/410 412 712/848 770/0 1 100 340 772/0 1 500 @PATH: 772/500 770/1 712/848 633/280 267 |
