JF> KV> Doh, I meant to say Fighting Vipers, my bad. What's wrong with blue
JF> KV> fireballs and jumping into the stratosphere. Most
JF> KV> fighting games are inspired
JF> KV> by Anime series where blue fireballs and jumping into the
stratosphere
JF> KV> common.
JF>
JF> What's wrong? It's not real. You're suppose to be in hand-to-hand
comba
JF> not missile bombardment. If you want that, play Virtual On!
JF> Oh, and I might agree with Fighting Vipers (never tried it, so I
wouldn't
JF> know), but I think Last Bronx is supposed to be more entertaining.
JF>
It's part of the anime world. They gather their energy from within and use
it in the form of fireballs. Besides fireballs you can do other special
moves. Not all anime based games are the same.
JF> KV>:P The Virtual Fighter series are boring. All
JF> KV> you do is stand there
JF> KV> and punch and kick back and forth until one guy falls out of the
arena
JF> KV> loses all his/her energy. It's pathetic.
JF>
JF> Apparently, you haven't really played any of the games, then. You may
be
JF> punching and kicking, but there is a lot more style (and skill, but you
JF> wouldn't know what that is) involved. Each fighter really DOES handle
JF> differently, and you have to learn what their most effective attacks are.
JF> instance, Lion: he excels at punching, and is one of the more nimble
JF> characters, thus he fights best on the move. Sarah, on the other hand,
s
JF> much more suited for kicking and more straightforward attacking.
JF> Oh, and what fighting game DOESN'T involve punching and kicking until a
R
JF> Out or a KO? About 95% of fighting games fit that category. Probably
he
JF> only one that doesn't is Bushido Blade.
JF>
I've played the games enough. Virtual Fighter 3 was so easy. The fighting
nd
controls are bad. Now the Tekken series esepcially 2 & 3 kick ass. They have
tons of moves and combos that any of those crappy virtual figher games and
fighting vipers has. I really like King's grabbing kombos on Tekken 3. I
can't wait till 3 comes out for PSX. I also want to get Streetfighter EX
Plus. Do you know if it's out yet? I haven't seen it anywhere.
