Well, yes, I do have a local BBS that carries Fidonet. However, he only
takes Open_Bible and Wholly_Bible. He allowed me two echoes in addition to
what he had already. With Ed Koon's internet access I have access to any
echo on the Fidonet backbone. I favor Fidonet because I've been involved
in Open_Bible and Wholly_Bible since about 1992. I prefer Fidonet over the
internet newsgroups because I can use my Blue Wave Offline reader for
Windows. I've gotten use to the convenience of it's quoting capabilities.
The only downside to Ed Koon's BBS site is you need to learn to use a
Telenet program and he carries adult files in some of his file areas. Not
that we look at such trash--but it bothers me that I am in an indirect way
supporting the offense by utilizing the other services offered by his BBS.
I am considering mentioning this issue to Ed. Perhaps with prayer he might
remove the adult file areas.
God bless:)
Sincerely in Christ,
Charlie Ray,
