As they should be. Memphis and Baltimore were royally screwed in the NFL
expansion farce. I still don't know why the Oilers chose Nashville over
Memphis when they moved, unless Memphis folks said "screw the NFL" after they
didn't get an expansion team.
And I still think all major pro sports should have a rule requiring teams
that relocate to change their name. We know Art Modell didn't leave the
Browns name in Cleveland out of the goodness of his heart, but we do know
that Baltimore football fans did NOT want the Browns name and Modell actually
benefits from leaving the name and colors behind (heck, we didn't want a team
that was supported by its fans, but whatever team we eventually got, if any,
we wanted to either be named "Colts" or be given a new name. We didn't want
anybody else's history, and we still want our Colts history back. I'm glad
Cleveland is getting a new Browns team without having to go through the crap
Baltimore did - their fans deserve it.) *adh*
