Well I've now connected twice manually, with EC/V42BIS being reported both
times. Note that I didn't see the word CONNECT in front of that, which I
used to see when I used to connect to BBSs manually.
I d/l-ed FILES and it was certainly at the right rate.
When I first logged on it knew about Frank Malcolm, but not about my
password - I tried several things and then it kicked me off. I hope that's
not going to stuff up my normal mail runs - if so, please fix.
Anyway so now it looks like the script. I'll try connecting one more time
and d/l FILES again
