BG> Have that 25-06 ready by deer season
JR> so you can fill the old freezer. :-)
BG>I sent my scope to Tasco because one of the crosshairs fell out. It was
BG>old scope and it had been used when I got it and I damn sure got my mon
BG>worth out of it. Tasco has a thing where if you send in your scope to t
BG>repair center, $10.00 and a note telling what is wrong with it, they wi
BG>fix it or replace it with a new scope. I did that on Feb 16,1998 and th
BG>tracked it through ups and it was recieved on Feb 25,1998.
BG> A month later I called them and they said it had not been put in th
BG>repair shop yet. I called again on May 8, and they said it had been shi
BG>out on May 5,1998. Here it is Mothers day and I have not seen hide nor
BG>of the scope yet. If I ever get it back , it will go back on the 25-06
BG>will be back out to the range doing my number. I have got a great littl
BG>grain bullet load that holds .650 of an inch consistently . But since I
BG>not had a chance to fire the weapon in a few months now, I may not be a
BG>to hold a six foot group. (G) Well, that might be a little bit of an
BG>exaggeration , but I do need to practice. I set my scope at two hundred
I hope that it wasn't lost somewhere in transit. If you have to get another
scope, you might think in terms of Leopould. I have a couple of them myself
and
have had good experience's with them. here's why I suggest a Leopould. A
co-worker of mine bought one used from someone he said about twenty years
ago.
Something on it broke or came loose and he shipped it back to the factory to
get
it fixed. They fixed it, swapped out the lens for the new type lens as they
said
the ones in there was old and no longer used, refinished it and shipped it
back
to him. There was no charges involved other than his cost to ship it in. You
just can't beat a company that stands behind their products like that
anywhere.
Waiting on deer season, whew, I'm getting ready myself. I plan on spending
some
time at the lease doing some work on some of the stands and a little
couting.
We upped our dues a little to pay for an extra 120 acres to add on and one of
the landowners upped their acreage fee, that'll give us a little over 9700
acres
now. We have a nice little lake on our lease and I could always carry a
fishing
rod alone. ;)
