Prediction! (With appropriate Pacific NW bias!)  The Huricanes will be  in 
Portland before the millenium is out!  This is a town that regularly  turns 
out 8,000 for *junior* hockey!!!  Not to mention, The Portland  Rosebuds were 
the first US team to play for the Cup.  Unfortunately, it  was the Seattle 
Metros that won the thing the next year ('17 ??). 
 
Anyways, Portland is a hockey town and as sure as Paul Allen "borowed" that 
source code for basic in college (allegedly), there'll be NHL  hockey in 
Stumptown within four years.
